Whilst I disagree with Lyons’ (and Obama’s) assertion that devices like the iPad are responsible - the devices are merely conduits for content - I completely agree with this statement. People need to realise that, when it comes to ‘services’ like Facebook, Foursquare, even Twitter to some degree, the user is not the customer. The user is the product.
